On Debate Night - Joe Biden Was Tired But Donald Trump Was A Liar

My Dear America:

Well, Its Over, Thank God.

They said it was 90 minutes but it seemed more like nine hours to me.  I kept looking at my watch wanting the time to move faster but it only seemed to move slower and slower.

Good God, It was awful.

I think we were all looking for State of the Union Joe Biden to show up last night, well rested and well prepared but unfortunately he wasn't there.  

He seemed to be there a little later in the debate as Joe seemed to perk up toward the end of the debate.  State of the Union Joe also seemed to be there as Joe and Jill made the rounds including to an Atlanta Watch Party and the Waffle House after the Debate debacle was over and Joe out in his crowd of admirers was more animated and relaxed in front of those people.

Its not really that Joe Biden had a bad debate..  He just looked and sounded tired and worn out and why wouldn't he be.  He has spent 3 and a half years doing good things for the average Americans and even though his rival in this contest is a 34 time LOSER this is still a race that is too close to call.

What the Hell is wrong with America and especially Republicans?  That they would even consider this modern day NAZI as a candidate is horrible enough.  That Joe Biden might not be able to beat him in November is a nightmare of Epic Proportions.  

How the hell could this be, Joe Biden must be asking himself.

Why The hell did I give up my Relaxing Life at Rehoboth Beach for this Bullshit, Joe Biden must be asking himself.

These are fair questions.

I am also 81 years old, going on 82 and from Scranton and I can only say that just doing my bullshit Blog and Podcast and going out shopping for food every couple of weeks and playing music occasionally with my friends exhausts me.  How Joe Biden has been able to accomplish all that he has during his Presidency astounds me.  It must seem to him as though he deserves a lot more credit than he has received and it is true that he does deserve that.

Just think that in addition to everything else that has been on his plate in the past few weeks he has had to fly to France for D Day, Fly back to America to comfort his son who would never have been convicted of his Chickenshit Gun charge if his name wasn't Biden.  Then Biden had to fly to Italy to get the G7 to back Ukraine. Then fly home again and spend a week preparing for this Debate with a Certified Criminal who is backed by every Republican in Congress, except for Mitt Romney. And add to this burden the fact that Republicans like Mitch McConnell and Lindsey Graham, who used to be his friends are now joining their MAGA Nazi Republican Buddies in stabbing Biden in the back every day of his life.

Add to this burden Ukraine and the Insanity of Israel and you truly have Biden struggling with the weight of the world on his back, as well as the burden of his responsibility for keeping America from becoming a Dictatorship.

Talk about the weight of the World on his back.  Joes got it.

Is it any wonder Joe Biden was tired at the First Debate with Trump.  What the hell did people expect.  So he's not the miracle man that we all expected.  He's just a Human Being capable of only so much.

I don't blame the talking heads that reviewed the debates on MSNBC and CNN for telling the truth about Biden's performance.  

No, it wasn't up to par compared with all of his previous Debate Performances. He's 81 Years Old, after all. Maybe the commentators and Democrats who were in a panic were right to start thinking about other Candidates such as Kamala Harris, or Gavin Newsom or Cory Booker or Hillary Clinton or Bernie Sanders taking over the responsibility that Joe Biden has been carrying all this time with very little recognition of how much he has sacrificed for the United States of America.

Or maybe we can give the man a little time to breathe and pick himself up from this Debate Debacle and get back on the campaign trail like he has done for so many years throughout his life.

Lets not give up on him yet.  Yes, he was tired and worn down this time out but we all know that every time Joe Biden has been down and counted out he has come back with a vengeance and performed his duties quite well for the American people.

And Lets not forget that in the First Televised Debate CNN Fact Checking showed that Donald Trump lied his ass off during the entire debate and when he wasn't lying he was not answering the questions he was asked.  

Trump is the liar and the criminal and had the nerve to call Joe Biden a Criminal.

If Joe Biden decides on his own that he has given enough to this country and wants out I will support whichever Democrat takes over for him.

On the other hand, If Joe Biden decides to do what he has done so many times in his life and pick himself up, dust himself off and start all over again I will do whatever I can to work for his Re Election to the Presidency of the United States because we all know what is waiting for us if a Democrat doesn't win this time out.

A Donald Trump MAGA Republican win is a prospect too ugly to contemplate.

Uninvited Advice To Insure Joe Biden's Success In His Upcoming Debate With Donald Trump On June 27th, 2024

My Dear America:

I was looking forward to talking with my Cousin, Tom sometime after the Debate this Thursday between Donald Trump and Joe Biden.  My Cousin was a very bright guy who worked for FEMA for many years before his retirement and worried a lot about how Democracy was going to fare following the Presidential Election in November of 2024.  Well Tom's worries about the future of Democracy are over.  He just passed away and he will be missed by all of us who knew him and loved him.  I am certainly one of those people who will certainly miss talking politics with Tom who really knew his stuff.  

But although Tom's worries are over, the rest of us who are still here need to continue to worry about whether or not we are going to be able to keep Democracy alive in America or whether we are going to be overrun by Madmen and Madwomen who don't really give a damn about Democracy anymore and think that it is a worn out system.

Maybe Democracy is a worn out system.  it has certainly had its problems recently, maintaining itself as a Government by the people and for the people that will not perish from this Earth.  Worn out or not, however, Democracy is a system that has served Americans well for a couple of centuries now and I certainly hope continues to serve us for many more centuries to come.

One thing is for sure.  This year, 2024 is a very important year in the evolution of Democracy in the United States.  There will be a contest coming up in November of this year in which the results of this election will point the way to the future of the United States Of America.  If Joe Biden is Re Elected to the Presidency Democracy will undoubtedly continue.  However, If Donald Trump is elected Democracy will be either Dead or on its way to Dying a Slow and Painful Death.

The stakes in November couldn't be higher for those of us who have not given up on Democracy.

This coming week our Democratic Champion, President of the United States ,Joe Biden will square off with Donald Trump in a Debate that will be broadcasting on CNN and streaming on MAX.

Although Joe Biden has not personally asked for my advice as to how to beat his opponent in the upcoming Debate that's OK.  I'm going to give President Biden my advice anyway.

Here Goes.

You have to understand, Joe, that there is only one way to beat Donald Trump at his own Game.

First of all, recognize that although there are rules set up by CNN that despite Mics being cut off Donald Trump will still be shouting and spouting off inappropriately when his turn is over and it is your turn to speak.  Try to ignore his ignorant behavior and keep talking despite his interruptions.

In your last debate with Trump I think one of your finest moments was when you finally told Trump to "SHUT UP".

Keep in mind you are not in the kind of political debate that you had been involved in during previous years  when debates were with relatively normal human beings, not with maniacs.  You are debating an ignorant fool who will stop at nothing to get you rattled.

He will surely talk about your son's conviction on gun charges.  Get ready for that.  When it comes ask him why he was so dead set against any kind of gun control legislation.

Also remind him and the Television Audience that Trump has had a trial in which he he had to pay an astounding amount of money for Sexually Assaulting E Jean Carroll and when he was too stupid to keep his mouth shut about his conviction following the trial that extraordinary amount he had to pay was increased exponentially when Ms. Carroll Took him to court again.

He also lost in court on Fraud charges brought by New York State Attorney, Tish James.

Also remind Trump of his own recent conviction on 34 counts and his status as a Convicted Felon who continues to claim that he is wrongfully convicted and is not yet sentenced.  Tell him that it might be in his best interest to stop bitching about the Judge and Jury in that trial.  Remind him that it is the Judge who will be sentencing him in July so he might want to shut up about that trial at least until after he is sentenced.

Tell him that at least your son is accepting his conviction and will accept his consequences as a result even though he would never have been charged in the crime if his name was not Biden.

Also when you get a chance to, don't forget to Brag about everything you and the Democrats have accomplished for the American people during your Administration.  You have a long list of accomplishments that you can highlight and at the end of your list of good things you have done ask Trump to name anything that he has done for the Average American.

When he tries to bait you on your immigration steps please remind him that you had negotiated in good faith with the Republicans in Congress and had come up with a plan that even though Republicans had helped prepare the border bill Congress killed the bill because Trump had demanded that they do so because he wanted to keep the border an issue to run on this year. 

Keep in mind, Joe, throughout the debate that you need to look Presidential and if he acts like an idiot, let him.  Don't let him goad you into losing your cool.  

I know you realize how much we love you, Joe and will be working toward your Re Election to the Presidency in the coming months.

Yes, this Debate will be important but it will only be the beginning and not the end of the story.  

And if the age factor comes up remind the voters that you are only a few years older than Trump and unlike Trump you don't constantly act like a Jackass.

Also When you get a chance please ask Trump what the hell was he talking about when he was telling that bizarre story about the Boat and the Shark.

Ask him What the Hell was the point of that story and the one about Hanibal Lecter.

Also When you get the chance ask him:

"Are You OK Man?"  

Tell him "You seem to always be a little off."

Hunter Biden's Dad

My Dear America:

I can't even imagine the pain and suffering that Joe Biden and his son, Hunter Biden and the rest of the Biden family are going through right now.  

Lets face facts.  There have been times in the lives of many families when individuals screwed up.  Hunter Biden certainly screwed up.  There is no doubt about that.  He took advantage of his high profile father's name at times and made plenty of money as a result.  Hunter has pissed away more money than most of us will ever get a chance to earn in our lifetime.  He admittedly was a serious drug addict, at times in his life but all indications are that he has been clean and sober for a considerable length of time now.

Good for you, Hunter.  You cleaned up your act and you admitted at least some of your indiscretions.  I suppose you thought that now that you have your act together that you were OK.  You were in the clear.  You were on the right path.

I hope for Hunter's sake that he is on the right path and will continue to travel through life on the right path.  Certainly, he is not the first child of a Presidential family who was a Screwup.  Both Ronald Reagan and Jimmy Carter had some problem kids.  But lucky for those kids the political climate back in those days was more forgiving and a hell of a lot more compassionate. 

That is not the case these days.  Compassion in today's Republican Party seems to be in short supply when it comes to Democrats.  Only Poor Donald and his family seem to be worthy of compassion.  Fairness seems to be a quality that is hard to come by in the MAGA Republican Party these days.  Certainly Liz Cheney and Adam Kinzinger know that.  They wandered off the MAGA Reservation and lost their seats in Congress because they wanted to live in the real world not in MAGA World where Black is White and Lies are Truth.  

Many of us who live in the real world find it hard these days when we see upside down flags at the homes of Supreme Court Justices and mobs of Insurrectionists who stormed the Capitol labeled as heroes.

What the Hell is going on here is something we would like to know.

We watch in horror as nearly every Republican in Congress, (Many of Whom Ran for their lives on January 6th, 2021) bend the knee and kiss the ass of Donald Trump in the shadow of The Nations Capitol where Donald sent his MAGA Mad Dogs to ransack the place back on January 6th.

Although Trump is now a Certified Convicted Felon that seems to mean nothing to the Mad King's followers.  Even Mitch McConnell is following in line with the Presumptive Republican Nominee of his party for President even though he could stand up and tell the truth about what he really thinks of Trump.

Gutless Phonys like Marco Rubio and Ted Cruz who back in 2016 were Ripping Donald a new one on the campaign trail now fawn over the Fuhrer like he is their best friend.

JD Vance, who derided Trump as a wannabe Hitler back in the day now begs Donald to consider him for his Vice President with a disgusting promise not to do what Mike Pence did on January 6th.  JD will as Vice President deny certification of the election if Trump loses and tries what he failed to do because of Pence on January 6th the last time out.  I guess JD is okay with Trump becoming Hitler this time as long as he can be Himmler in the Trump Reich.

Pretty sick stuff and if things go as Trump Plans and he is able to implement his 2025 Plans we Democrats had better batten down the hatches.

But getting back to Hunter Biden and Joe Biden.  

Hunter Biden would never have been charged for checking off a box that indicated that he was not under the influence of drugs when he bought a gun if his name wasn't Biden.  We all know that.  Certainly the Republicans know that. How many people have ever been charged with this bullshit charge in the history of the United States.  But he was charged and a Jury found him guilty.  So now there will be consequences.  We can only hope that the judge will be someone who is compassionate and realistic about this Trumped up charge.  

I cannot hope to understand what Joe and Jill Biden and the rest of the Biden family are going through thanks to Hunter Biden's Reckless Life.  Like all Parents we all know that when our children are going through rough times we are going through rough times too.  

Joe Biden literally has the weight of a crazy, screwed up world on his shoulders.  He didn't need to have Hunter's fate thrown at him now but the fates have not always been kind to Family man Joe Biden and his son, Hunter.  Joe and Hunter lost Hunter's mother and sister in a car accident literally just before Joe Biden entered the Senate.  Hunter and his Brother Beau were in the accident and were lucky to recover.  Joe lost his son and Hunter lost his brother to cancer.

Certainly, I think as we seem to be headed toward at least the outside possibility of a Certified Nazi Regime running the United States Government in the near future maybe the fate of Hunter Biden is not the most important thing to be thinking about.  

I know that at this terrible time for Biden's family his former friends in the Senate like Lindsey Graham and Mitch McConnell cannot be counted on to be compassionate.  I just hope that Joe can hold up under the strain of this heartbreaking situation.  I am not sure that he should be debating with Trump in the near future because although Trump was also recently convicted of a Felony Trump is a man without a shred of Compassion or caring regarding anyone other than himself.  Remember back to the debate with Hillary Clinton when Trump brought in several former girlfriends of Bill Clinton and sat them in the front row.  

It might be wise for Joe Biden to announce that he is not going to debate Trump because he does not want to normalize Trump's Abnormal Campaign and avoid whatever terrible things Trump may try to do to Joe and Hunter on the Debate Stage.

Biden may take some flak for this but I think it is time that he not only takes Care of the United States of America but also takes care of himself and his family and doesn't set himself or Hunter up to be verbally Crucified by a Self Centered Bully like Donald Trump.

Could This Be The Last American D Day Celebration

June 7th, 2024

 My Dear America:

With everything else going on these days I almost forgot about the Celebration of   D Day which took place this past week in France near the spot where Allied Troops including Britain, Canada and The United States invaded France on the Normandy Coast on their way to victory against Nazi Germany during            World War II.  Included along with the Dignitaries at yesterdays celebration were some of the last surviving members of the American Armed Forces that pushed through the German guns and troops on their way to victory for Freedom and Democracy not only in America but throughout the world.  Those brave men who stormed the beaches in Normandy saved the world from the destructive force that was Adolph Hitler's Germany at the time of World War II.  Those old men who showed up to celebrate D Day this time around are a dwindling few who may not see too many more D Day Celebrations.

Some of the unsung and unknown young heroes of the assault on Normandy Beaches included some individuals who would become famous in their later years after the war.  Some of those individuals include Civil Rights Leader Medgar Evers, Catcher in the Rye Author J.D. Salinger, Baseball Great Yogi Berra and Actors James Doohan (Scottie on the Original Star Trek Television Show) and Actor Charles Durning ( A Character actor in many outstanding movies)

Among the global dignitaries at this year's D Day Event were American President, Joe Biden, French President Macron and Ukraine's President Zelensky.  Although I haven't heard Joe Biden's speech yet, every commentary on it that i have seen on the speech has had very positive things to say about it.  Biden apparently referenced in his speech Ronald Reagan's speech of 20 years previous in which Reagan advised the world not to forget about the sacrifices that were made by so many brave individuals back in the days of World War II.  Although I never cared that much for Reagan, I do think that he was certainly a True Patriot who sincerely loved his Country and cared about the world.  Biden and Reagan's D Day Speeches were certainly in stark contrast with Donald Trump's assessment of      D Day Veterans as "Suckers and Losers".

Certainly Joe Biden is a man who is also a True Patriot who cares about his country.  He also cares about the rest of the world as evidenced by his continuing Friendship and Support for President Zelensky and Ukraine.  Clearly if President Reagan were alive and well and could see the Quisling Republicans in Congress who are ready, willing and unfortunately able to sell out not only America but Ukraine , as well, he would no doubt reel in disgust.

Over Four thousand Allied Troops died upon the Normandy Beaches during D Day.  Over two and a Half Thousand troops were Americans.  Many of them continue to  lie there in French Graveyards just off the Beaches where their lives were snuffed out by the forces of Nazi Aggression.  

After what the world has been through in its struggles to keep the forces of evil away from the shores of America it is hard to accept the fact that in 2024 those forces of evil are still alive and have seriously infected the body politic and heart of one of America's major political parties.  

How can this be we ask ourselves.

Where did we go wrong?

We fought for Freedom elsewhere in the world.  We are still fighting for Freedom elsewhere in the world.

But we took our eye off the ball in America.  As the Right Wing Voices spewed out the hate that created profits for the likes of Rupert Murdoch and Fox News we  were not paying enough attention to how many Americans were falling off the rails and believing the Bullshit that people like Donald Trump and Steve Bannon were selling.

We took our eyes off the ball and allowed the Democratic Party to be denigrated in the name of Patriotism and allowed Republican voices to spew lies about Democrats.

Although the Democratic Party has long been the party of the common man, the working man and woman and The Republican Party has been the party of the rich and well connected, Bit by Bit and Lie by Lie, the Republicans have convinced many Decent Americans that they are the party that cares for them.

Wake up people.  While we see the results of Donald Trump and the Republican Party's lies and deceit on America we have one last chance to get it right.  

On Election day we will have two choices for President.

Donald Trump has promised Dictatorship and Retribution.  In Trump's view World War II was loaded with "Suckers and Losers".   If Trump is Re Elected it is doubtful that D Day will even be celebrated by the "Bone Spur President."

Joe Biden has promised more of the same results that he has produced over the past few years.  More Jobs, more infrastructure,  More Healthcare, More Freedom, Less College Debt, Decent and Fair Judges even on the Supreme Court.

I certainly know which of these two Candidates sounds better to me.

Even if Donald Trump was a decent man (Which he is not) I would still not want to live in a Dictatorship.  

Who in God's name would want that?

The Republican Party. That's who.

The Incredible Shrinking Trump - Volume 2 - The 34 Count Guilty Verdict

My Dear America:

I have to confess that although I am gratified that a jury of Donald Trump's Peers did their job and convicted him on 34 Felony counts that I am not as happy as I thought I would be if this occurred.  

It is also a sad day for America because for the first time in our Nation's History a former President of the United States has been legitimately convicted of a crime in an American Court of Law.  

In addition to being grateful to the Jury, who did a fine job under extremely difficult circumstances I am also grateful to Judge Juan Merchan who conducted himself with honor and Grace throughout this trial, as well as New York City District Attorney, Alvin Bragg and his very competent Assistant District Attorney's whose brilliant and well ordered case made it difficult for the Jury to come up with anything other than a Guilty Verdict.

Those Individuals who testified in this case also deserve the appreciation of those Americans who still believe in the rule of law in our country, which appears not to include most members of the Republican Party.  Certainly Stormy Daniels and Michael Cohen deserve the most credit for telling the truth under the most difficult and grueling Conditions.

What is going to happen next is difficult to predict.  Certainly Donald Trump's Unhinged Press Conference the day after the verdict promising Dark Days to come if he is not re elected is worrisome.  But so has been the deeply disturbing ongoing unhinged Promises of return to the Good Old Days of Nazi Germany in America that Trump has been spewing for some time now.  Trump's Father was of German Descent and the Good Old Nazi Fuhrer was not considered to be such a bad guy in the Trump Family Household back in the day.  

I watched an Interview the other day that Trump's Niece, Mary Trump, did for the PBS Series Frontline that is available on You Tube.  She clearly had a lot of insight to share on what was going on in the Trump Family when Donald Trump and his Siblings were growing up.  I would suggest that anyone who is looking for insight on Donald Trump and his odd family values might do well to check out this interview on You Tube.   

The truth of the matter is that I am genuinely surprised that the jury came back so early with a unanimous "Guilty" Verdict.  It was known that one juror admitted to getting their news from "Truth Social" and that there were some Fox News Viewers on the Jury.  But the Jury did return with a "Guilty" verdict on all 34 Felony Counts.  

Good For them.

During the course of this sensational trial we have seen a lot.  Trump has spent his time during the breaks of this trial savaging the Judge in this trial, Judge Juan Marchan although the Judge seems to have been able to still conduct the trial fairly, although Donald Trump will never admit that.  Thanks to all of the individuals involved in this trial and I would have to include Trump's Lawyers. We have seen the legal system, at least in this important trial, work and work well.

What we have not seen working well during the course of this trial was the response from the Republican Party and especially the MAGA Extremists in the House of Representatives.  The "Red Tie Brigade", which is what House Majority Leader, Hakeem Jeffries, calls them, did respond to Trump's request for them to show up since very few other Trump Supporters were responding to the call.

Close to the end of the trial Robert DeNiro showed up outside the Courtroom surrounded by some of the Hero Cops who defended the Capitol Building on January Sixth, 2021.  Bobby D. had some very choice words for his fellow New Yorker.  Suffice it to say that Mr. DeNiro is clearly not a Trump fan.

Following the announcement of the verdict in the Trump Trial the reaction from Trump's Political supporters has been truly disturbing, as has been their reaction during the trial.  There seems to be no recognition by MAGA Republicans that Trump has done anything wrong.  Instead Trump's Acolytes have instead been complaining about the Trial and seem to have no recognition that Trump's Trial was a legitimate response to Trump doing something wrong by instructing Michael Cohen to pay off Porn Star, Stormy Daniels to keep her story from being released prior to the 2016 Election, which Trump unfortunately won   There also seems to have been no MAGA appreciation for the fact that Michael Cohen served more than two years in prison for what he did for Trump.  Also, when other prisoners were being released during Covid, Donald Trump and his Attorney General, William Barr, did their best to continue to keep Cohen behind bars.  Cohen was assigned to House Release only because a Judge reviewing the case quickly realized the awful truth about what Trump and Barr were doing.

Instead of Republicans applauding the Justice system for working well in this important case Republicans seem to be united in backing Donald Trump as he whines and complains about how unfair life and the law has been to him.

Clearly Republicans should be able to see that Donald Trump is a Madman who rants and raves about everything including "The Late Great Hannibal Lecter". Can they not see that they have hitched their Party to a Lunatic who is now a Convicted Lunatic.  Apparently not.

Immediately following the Trump Trial Verdict millions of dollars have been collected by the Republican Party on Trump's behalf.  At Least that is what is being claimed by the Trump Campaign and the Republican Party, who are all the same these days.  

Can the Trump Campaign or the Republican Party be trusted with telling us the truth?  I would say HELL NO.

What we have seen with the Trump Trial and the Republican Party Response to the Trump Trial Verdict is incredibly troubling.  Republicans who have always been True Believers in the "Rule of Law" are suddenly mistrusting the legal system simply because an American Jury ruled against their proposed Fuhrer and is Jeopardizing their plans to turn The United States into a Satellite state of Russia.  

Donald Trump is a Clear and Present Danger to America and of the two main American Political Parties only the Democratic Party seems to recognize or care that this is true.

Wake Up, America.  The Storm is coming.

And the Storm Troopers too.

Nikki Haley - Just Another Republican Phony Falling In Line With The Fuhrer

My Dear America:

I am extremely Disappointed but not Really Surprised That after a lengthy Campaign of telling the Truth about the fact that Donald Trump is "Unhinged" and Unqualified to be President, Nikki Haley has looked at the two Candidates for President and has chosen to be voting for Donald Trump over Joe Biden.

During Haley's longer than the rest of the Republican Candidates Campaign in which she fought hard to earn the votes and respect of Republican voters, her Candidacy showed in nearly every Primary contest that there was a significant number of Republican Voters who were clearly unsatisfied enough with Donald Trump that they voted for Haley.  Haley made it clear throughout her Presidential Campaign that although she had worked for Trump as his American Representative at the United Nations that she was not in the Trump Camp anymore.  Trump responded to her independence by belittling, reviling and disrespecting her and reveling in her Primary losses.  

It seemed to me as though there was at least somewhat of a chance that Haley might actually do the right thing and support Joe Biden for President.  After all, as she made clear during her Presidential Campaign she recognized just how Weird and Unusual it was for Donald Trump when he was the American President to be a Super Fan of a number of Brutal World Dictators including Vladimir Putin and not really a fan of a number of our Country's closest NATO and other Allied Countries. During her campaign Haley brought out this concern about support for our allies and Trump's misguided allegiances to Autocrats.

To be fair I have to say that during the Republican Primary Debates that I watched Haley was one of the few Republicans Running who called out not just Joe Biden about the National Debt but also called out Donald Trump and even pointed out how much more Trump contributed to the National Debt than Biden.  The longer the Primary contest went on the more Haley moved away from the Trump Camp.  When Trump had virtually driven out all of the rest of the Republican Challengers from the Primary's Nikki Haley still remained and the Campaign discussions between Haley and Trump got very heated and nasty on both their parts.  

I really don't understand how Haley could have said what she said over and over about Trump's tremendous flaws and then justify supporting him over Biden.  It is discouraging to see how she stood up to Trump's withering criticism of her and, indeed,  her husband in the Military who Trump also disrespected, and can now put that behind her and get on board the Trump Train.  

But Nikki Haley is only one of a number of former Trump Challengers and Critics who have seen the light.  One only has to look at the disturbingly weird spectacle that has been taking place at the New York City Court House where the "Red Tie Brigade" of Republican Syncophants are lining up to rail against the American Justice System that has been working against their Fuhrer.

Those of us who have been waiting for the majority of the Republican Party to Wake up and Smell the treason better wake up ourselves.  We are running out of chances to save Democracy and Democracy is running out of chances to save us.  

Our Supreme Court is Corrupted.  Our Justice System has also been corrupted by the many unqualified Candidates for Judgeships that the Republicans slipped by us during the Trump Administration.  The Congress is Corrupted by the likes of Marjorie Taylor Greene, Lauren Boebert, Matt Gaetz, Paul Gosar, Mike Johnson and others. And Certainly if Donald Trump is Re Elected we will be living in a Dictatorship not only on Day One but on Every Day of our lives.

Nikki Haley could have continued on working on her Profile In Courage but instead she has produced a final Profile in Corruption. It is certainly unlikely that Donald Trump will be welcoming her back into the MAGA Fold any time soon but if she continues to Grovel sufficiently then maybe the Fuhrer might let her back into power.  Clearly Haley is hoping to be admitted to the halls of power again but I think that her sick and disgusting caving to her party over her country will echo through the future history books if, in fact, we have a true history that will be allowed in future years to be written down and read by all Americans.

I just hope that all of those Nikki Haley Voters who voted their displeasure with Donald Trump will not do what Haley did and simply vote for Trump because every Republican is required to.  Think for yourself Haley Voters.  Yes, it is discouraging what Haley is doing but it will be much more discouraging if Donald Trump is elected once again. Trump has been and continues to be clear about what he has in mind for all of us if he wins again and It is not a pretty picture.  In fact, it is a very ugly picture in store for us in another Trump Administration.  

We are truly in some very dark times these days but as long as Joe Biden is President we have a chance to turn things around.  

Every Democrat eligible to vote needs to vote.

Every Reasonable Republican needs to vote, as well. 

And Every Independent also needs to vote.

We all need to vote to save our Democracy.  

This is no time to waste in internal squabbling in the Democratic Party.  

Time is running out for America.  She is presently on Life Support and when November comes she will either survive as a Democracy or we will watch her become a Dictators Paradise.  

I choose Democracy.  I hope you do too.

But time is running out.  We need to batten down the hatches because whatever happens in November Trump and his followers are going to claim if he loses that the Election was rigged.  We need to recognize that if we want to preserve Democracy we need to be willing to fight for it or it will be gone, possibly forever. Voting for President has never been as important as it is today.

VOTE like your Life and your Country's life depends on it. Because it does.

Don't wait until you see smoke rising from the Death Camps Brothers and Sisters because by then it will be too late.

The Incredible Shrinking Trump

 Monday May 13th  2024

My Dear America:

Many years ago I tried to watch an old black and white Science Fiction Movie called "The Incredible Shrinking Man."

The movie wasn't very good but I thought that the premise of the movie was kind of interesting.

I don't remember exactly why the main character of the movie began to shrink.  It could have been radiation that was responsible.  It was a long time ago and I just don't recall why he shrank.  I just remember that he did.  He kept on shrinking until his cat became a massive Dangerous Animal and the Shrinking man barely escaped the fate of being chased by the cat as if he were a mouse.

As we watch Donald Trump (Or as some call him Colonel Von Shitsnpantz) sit in the Manhattan Courtroom where he is spending his days recently he is reminding me more and more each day of "The Incredible Shrinking Man"

I remember E. Jean Carroll being interviewed on Rachel Maddow's Program following the end of one of her Court Cases involving Trump commenting on the fact that the longer she was in the Court Room for her trial the more she realized that Donald Trump was not the epic figure that he and his admirers in the Republican Party have presented him to be.  He was just a rather stupid and pathetic figure who was not a Colossus but simply a Well Dressed Angry Faced Doofus who has fooled a lot of people.

Although Cameras are inexplicably not allowed in the New York Court Room where Trump is now on trial, the drawings of Trump that I have seen showing that Continuous Ugly Scowl on his face and the reports of his Smelly Farts wafting through the Court Room almost (But Not Quite) makes me feel sorry for the Dumb Son of a Bitch.

Certainly it must bother Trump to see no other members of his family coming to court to support him with the exception of his son, Eric showing up on one occasion.  

Also Trump has to be discouraged when he has been constantly putting out the word that his supporters should be showing up at his Trial and except for just one or two people on any trial day Trump is still waiting for crowds of his followers to show up at the Court House in New York City.

Of Course, who can blame his followers for not showing up in New York when so many Trump Fans who showed up for him on January Sixth 2021 and followed his instructions to go to the Capitol and disrupt the Election Certification are still spending time behind bars.  

Clearly there can be a serious price to be paid for being a Trump Supporter and these days there are fewer and fewer individuals willing to pay that Steep Price.

But the truth is that I do not and will not ever feel sorry for Donald Trump.  He is a Dangerous and Delusional Egomaniac who is obviously personally falling Apart before our Eyes but People lets not forget that

And if it wasn't for the fact that he had made the serious mistake of picking someone for his Vice President who valued the Constitution more than his Criminally Insane Boss, HE COULD HAVE PULLED IT OFF.

Unfortunately for US Donald Trump will undoubtedly have his choice of Ass Kissing Republican Lap dogs vying for the Vice Presidency this time around who will not give a shit about Democracy or the Constitution when and if Trump is unfortunately in power again.

I would ask anyone sincerely thinking about Voting for Donald Trump this time around to 

WAKE THE HELL UP BEFORE IT IS TOO LATE TO SAVE OUR COUNTRY FROM BECOMING A SATELLITE COUNTRY TO RUSSIA

How could it be that in a Race between a man who has accomplished so much for US and for our country as Joe Biden has is in a Tie Race with a Man who did a Terrible job as President the last time out and has promised to be a "Dictator on Day one " and I expect every day after, as well.

It remains to be seen after the testifying of Stormy Daniels and Michael Cohen is done and the Court House Farting of Donald Trump is over whether or not Donald Trump is still walking free on the streets of New York and elsewhere in the United States of America.

Trump has not only told us how it will be if, in fact, he is Re Elected President of the United States. He has promised us Revenge and Retribution as his stated Future Political Goals.  Although he has certainly lied a lot to US over the years I am convinced that in this case he is telling us the truth about what we are in for if Donald Trump is once again elected President of the United States.

Don't be stupid, people.  Wake up to Reality before it is too late to save our Country from becoming the Living Hell it will be when and if Donald Trump is elected President again.

In the Election for President in 2024 One Candidate is committed to American Democracy and the other Candidate has already tried to Deep Six Democracy in the last Presidential Election and will once again not commit to accepting the Election Results this time around.

What more do you Need to know to know before you commit to voting for President Joseph R. Biden in November of 2024.
