Welcome To The New Republican Twilight Zone

 My Dear America:

In The New American Republican Political Twilight Zone nothing makes sense anymore these days.  Those of us who have lived in Pre Twilight Zone America are having an Extremely hard time these days figuring out what in the hell is going on and why and most especially what is coming next.  

Why, for instance, was Donald Trump the front runner in a two Person race with Nikki Haley for the Presidential Nod in the Republican Party when he was facing multiple Felony Charges in multiple states.  When was it in the past when Multiple Felonies and Ugly Mug Shots led to successful Presidential Races in any Political Party, let alone the Republican Party.

What in the world is it that Republicans see in this Inarticulate Clod named Donald Trump that causes them to increase, not decrease their support each time he is newly indicted for extremely serious crimes in differing areas of the United States.

Why is it that members of the crowd at C-Pac cheered when individual Republicans said things like "Welcome To The End Of Democracy." What is there to cheer about when we might be truly facing THE END OF DEMOCRACY in the near future.

In the New American Twilight Zone Black is White, Wrong is Right and what was never tolerated in American Politics before is now the Norm.  In the Republican Party the January Sixth Rioters who broke into our Nation's Capitol Building looking to "Hang Mike Pence" are now called "Hostages" by Donald Trump and other leading Republicans.

I watched the proceedings on television on January Sixth, 2021 and the only "Hostages" I saw were the members of Congress who were running for their lives from the Trump Supporters who were breaking everything they could in the Capitol, Shitting on the floor of the Capitol and beating the hell out of the Police Officers who were defending the Capitol.  

Such was life in the Republican Twilight Zone on January Sixth, 2021

"Hostages" My Ass.  

On January Sixth it was not those people who broke into the Capitol who were the "Hostages" unless you were living in the Republican Twilight Zone.

In The Republican Twilight Zone our Long Time Coalition of Allied European NATO Countries can be sacrificed for Russia "To Do Whatever The Hell They Want" if they do not pay "Protection Money" to the United States.  

Why?

Because Donald Trump Says so.  That's why!

Although the United States Republican Party has forever been "Anticommunist" and more than willing to destroy lives and careers of others while building their own careers on their Anticommunist Credentials (Richard Nixon and Joe MCarthy are two names that come to mind) It is a New Day in the Republican Twilight Zone.

Because Ex President and Republican Party Leader, Donald Trump loves Dictators and desires to be one himself, we are all now required to love Vladimir Putin and Kim Jong Un and other world Dictators simply because Donald Trump loves them. 

President Joe Biden and his Democratic Party Allies, along with reasonable Republican Congress Members, have given their pledge of support to President Zelensky and Ukraine following Russia's illegal and uncalled for attack on it's Next Door Neighboring Democracy.  

But now, because Donald Trump is more than willing to kiss Putin's ass, Republican Twilight Zone Dwellers have done their best to shaft Biden's efforts to continue to fund Democracy in Ukraine so that Russian aggression can be stopped in Ukraine and, by the way, avoid the prospect of American troops needing to fight on foreign soil.  

I sincerely believe that it is way past the time to get out of the Republican Twilight Zone and Truly make America Great Again by bringing Sanity back to American Government and American life.

Enough of the Twilight Zone, People.  

It was a Great Television Show but it is time to realize what a Disaster and a Disgrace it will be to live in a world where Democracy does not Exist.

We don't need a Civil War.

We need Civil Behavior by our Republican Leaders and by ourselves.

We also need to support Kamala Harris for President and other Democrats in November and we need to support Democracy in Ukraine, as well as in our country.

We absolutely need to say Goodbye and Good Riddance to Donald Trump and the New Republican Twilight Zone Forever.
